This session will feature an incredible spotlight, Claire Venus.

Claire Venus is an Audience Development Consultant, Substack expert and mentor based in Northumberland. She works with businesses and brands to help them grow and connect with the right audience online. In 2024, her book How to Build a World Class Substack reached the top of the Amazon bestseller charts.

In her talk, Claire will share her journey from working in-house in the corporate world to building her own online business. She will talk about the lessons learned along the way, how she grew her online presence from zero to an audience of more than 50,000 and how finding the right audience can transform a business.

Claire will also speak about balancing motherhood with a long-term creative goal: writing one book a year for ten years, a challenge she is now in year six of. Her talk offers a practical look at building an online platform while managing the realities of work and life.
