You can now book onto our March City Ladies Networking breakfast, held as usual at Newcastle Gateshead Hilton.
This session will feature an incredible spotlight, Karen Hands.
In this session, Karen Hands explores why so many women still struggle to be heard at work — and why that needs to change. Drawing on her own journey from engineer to leadership expert, and insights from over 5,000 women on Oxford Saïd’s Women’s Leadership Development Programme, Karen reveals how women’s transformational leadership style is exactly what today’s world needs. She’ll also share how networks like City Ladies can help women step up, speak out, and lead with confidence.
Karen Hands is an Associate Fellow at Oxford Saïd Business School and Head Tutor for their online Women’s Leadership Development Programme. With a background in process engineering and project management, she now works as a consultant, coach and Board advisor through Say it Karen Ltd, helping women speak with purpose, passion and poise. Karen is also an angel investor in female-led businesses and the author of Networking Know-how, and she’s passionate about empowering women to lead the change the world needs.
So come and enjoy breakfast, visit a lovely venue and meet lots of like-minded women face to face.
